By downloading or using Playgrid, the user agrees to these terms. They are published at playgrid.nl/terms-of-use.html.
License
Subject to compliance with these terms, the developer grants the user a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use Playgrid on Apple devices the user owns or controls, for personal or professional use in preparing and performing music. The app, or any part of it, may not be copied, reverse engineered, redistributed, sublicensed, or sold, except as permitted by Apple's App Store terms or applicable law.
Purchases
Playgrid offers an optional Pro upgrade with two purchase options: an auto-renewing subscription, billed yearly, that unlocks Pro features for as long as it stays active, or a one-time lifetime purchase that unlocks Pro features permanently, with no recurring payment. Prices are shown in the App Store at the time of purchase and may vary by country or region according to Apple's pricing.
The auto-renewing subscription renews automatically at the end of each billing period unless cancelled before renewal. Subscriptions can be viewed, managed, or cancelled at any time in the device's Settings app, under the Apple Account name, Subscriptions. Cancelling stops future renewals but does not refund the current period.
All purchases, billing, and subscription management are handled by Apple through the App Store, not by the developer. Apple's own terms and refund policies apply to every purchase. Refund requests must be made to Apple, for example at reportaproblem.apple.com, since the developer has no ability to issue refunds directly and never receives payment information.
User content
Songs, setlists, medleys, and any images the user adds belong to the user. Playgrid stores them in the user's own private iCloud database, or locally on the device if iCloud Sync has not been turned on, as described in the Privacy Policy. The developer does not claim any ownership over this content and cannot access it.
Disclaimer of warranty
Playgrid is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. The developer does not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted, error free, or free of data loss, and users are encouraged to keep their own backups of anything important.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the developer is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of or related to use of, or inability to use, Playgrid, including loss of data, even if advised of the possibility of such damages. Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot be limited or excluded under applicable law.
Termination
The user may stop using Playgrid at any time by deleting it from their device. The developer may modify or discontinue the app, in whole or in part, at any time. These terms remain in effect for as long as the app is in use.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Netherlands, without regard to conflict of law principles. Nothing in this section limits any consumer protection rights available under the mandatory law of the country where the user lives.
Third party terms
Use of Playgrid is also subject to Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement to the extent it applies, and to Apple's Media Services Terms and Conditions for purchases made through the App Store. Where this document and Apple's terms conflict on a point Apple's terms are required to control, Apple's terms govern that point.
Changes to these terms
If these terms change, the "last updated" date above will change, and the new version will be published at the same URL.
